First off: HAPPY WORLD VEGAN DAY! We've officially made it to November (crazy!), which means that today is World Vegan Day - enough reason to try eating only plantbased goodness for a day? In the spirit of good, cruelty free food, I thought I'd share another Vegan Eats with you today, bringing veganised Czech food to you from Prague.
When my friends and I first arrived at our hostel, which was located in the middle of beautiful Prague, I immediately took on the task to see where we could have lunch that we could all enjoy. Funnily enough, it turned out that we lived only a few houses away from LoVeg, an all vegan restaurant that offers everything from Czech dishes to raw, gluten free and even Asian dishes! After having some bruschetta as a starter, I opted for a traditional Czech dish called svícková which usually consists of meat covered in sauce, served with bread dumplings and cranberry sauce. I really enjoyed trying a traditionally Czech meal and my friends got typical goulash soups and thai curries. Everyone enjoyed their meal, the restaurant itself was cozy and modern and had the cutest terrace (which was unfortunately already full of people when we arrived).
