A few hours left

Pretty many people are doing a post about how their year was on their blog, but since I haven't been blogging from the same laptop for the entire year, I decided that I'll just write down the things that pop up in my head when I think of the different months.

January: I went to Brussels with my family, fell in love with the city and did lots of shopping.

February: I finally turned 16 and started to go out more. I gave in my sheet with my subject choices for the last two years of school that I have left and I enjoyed every second of the thought that I'd only have a few months of chemistry left, haha!

March: Went out, got closer to some people.

April: Went to Turkey with my family, it was so beautiful!

May: Got to know someone I'm good friends with now, baked shit loads of cakes and cookies with friends.

June: Last few days of school for me, survived my exams and that wicked 5th year, went out, spent time with amazing people, went to a BBQ and got soaking wet, layed on the street, walked around with bare feet when it was 35°C.

July: Had my BBQ Party with Victoria, which was aawesome, worked in my town for the first time and earned my own money. Went to England with Jil, met amazing people, instantly fell in love with Cambridge, had the best time.

August: Spent a lot of time with friends, went to Belgium with my family and finally to the beach in summer, tanned!

September: Started my second last year of school, went to the Schueberfouer (a big fair) with friends, went out, started to miss the summer holidays.

October: School school school, went out, went to Vienna with my mother and brother, did some shopping and nearly froze to death.

November: Went to the Black & White party that got organised by our school, worked for school..

December: Finally got my laptop, way too much chocolate and other candy! Had my winter exams, celebrated Christmas with a delicious turkey and now GONNA PARTY HARD!

In conclusion, to me 2011 was absolutely amazing. I dare to say that it was my best year so far. Even though I had some downs as well, the ups are still taking over and I'm actually quite sad to leave this year behind me, because it feels like it went by way too fast.

I'm not sure if I'll post again tonight, since I'm going to a warm up/house party and afterwards go out in town, so I wish you all a Happy New Year! May your wishes come true and 2012 be just as amazing as 2011 was!

NADA COLADA

I met up with Elizabete (you better click on her name and follow her blog!) today, we had lunch at Chi Chi's and later on Lisa joined us and we walked through shops and later had a cozy time at Café Konrad, which I recently discovered through a friend. We didn't take pictures of eachother (with my camera, the picture above got taken with Lisa's phone), but I played around with my camera bit, and even though the quality of the pictures is so awful, I like how they look when I use one of Photoscape's effects on them. However, in conclusion: I had a wonderful time with lots of talking and laughing!

As I told you yesterday, I went to town with Kathlyn, we had sushi for lunch and then walked our feet off going from one shop to another at the gare. We actually planned to buy jeggings at Extrabold, but the shop is closed for the moment, so I guess I'll have to go back there in a few days. I ended up buying the stuff you see above and I'm very satisfied!
I'm going to the cinema with a couple of friends this afternoon to see "New Year's Eve", and since I have no idea what movie that is, I'm gonna watch the trailer now. Have a nice wednesday everyone :)

I basically sing this song all year long, but when I hear it around Christmas, it's one of the few songs that immediately puts me in a Christmas-y mood! Again, Merry Christmas to you all, I'm gonna hurry now to be ready for the turkey!

I've loved and I've lost

After scrolling through old posts (especially outfits posts) on my blog on friday night, I realised that my outfits were so much more creative back to the beginning/middle of this year and that I haven't really taken any pictures of myself in ages. So I pulled myself together today and put in my contacts, put on make-up and took some pictures and yes, these are the results.. just felt like sharing them with you :)

I'm probably a bit late with all the Christmas-y mood and everything, but I somehow still don't feel like it is Christmas.. weird me! Well however, I wish you all a Merry Christmas!
In my family, we celebrate the 25th december more than the 24th, but we'll still have a cozy dinner together, just the four of us. Tomorrow the grannies are coming over and I'll stuff myself with turkey and other delicious things, mmmhh!

I've recently been drooling over pretty party dresses with nice details (especially back cut outs, looove) and black, a bit rougher boots. I'm not sure about the boots and I can't figure out which dress I prefer, so what do you think? Boots, yes/no, dresses, which one?

It's kind of a funny story

I watched this movie with Victoria on saturday night, we both loved it and I definitely recommend it!

I spent my weekend more or less (mainly less) studying spanish verbs and being with Kathlyn and Victoria. On saturday it started snowing out of nowhere, but the snow doesn't seem to want to stay with us, it hasn't snowed since then. I had my spanish exam today and I have no idea about how the part with the verbs went, but I think the writing part went quite well :) Tomorrow I'll have another day off, which I'll probably spend tidying and putting clothes for sale on facebook, and on wednesday I have my last exam, aah what a lovely feeling!

Another reason why my mood is quite good is, that I found out that I'm going to Mallorca in April 2012 for the 6th year trip (a school trip everyone makes when in 6th year secondary) and the people and destination definitely seem to be cool, so I'm excited about that!

I had my free friday today and didn't really do anything. The weather in Luxembourg recently has been craaazy! Rain 24/7, stormy wind, sometimes a bit of snow.. I have two exams to go, spanish and french. I'm okay for french, we can't really study for it, but I'm nervous about spanish, because I'll have to study lots of verbs over the weekend, hum :( Other than that, no special plans this weekend or next week, I can't wait to be on christmas holidays, even though I am absolutely not ready to start 2012 in 15 days yet, everything went by way too fast!

And that's it, that's what most of my days the next 8/9 days will look like, since I'm starting my exams tomorrow! I'm quite nervous, because I'll write my exams in our Salle de fêtes (like eh a room with uhm a stage and stuff? haha), and not in normal classrooms anymore, and I'll have spanish and philosophy compos for the first time in my life, uh-ooh..

I thought I might make a plan on which exams I have and when:

Tuesday (13th): German

Wednesday: English & Philosophy

Thursday: Maths

Friday: DAY OFF!

Monday (19th): Spanish

Tuesday: DAY OFF!

Wednesday: French

Thursday: DAY OFF / STARTING THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAAYS!

RANDOM OUTFIT

Just a random outfit I wore with my new boots a week ago or so. I love love combining them with my thick grey tights, they're incredibly warm and not as boring as the usual black ones. Today again is going to be all about studying german and a bit more maths, oh the joy! But on the other hand, less than 2 weeks and I'll have nearly 3 weeks off school, ahh can't wait! Until then, back to the books, xo

NEW IN

I got these beauties a bit more than a week ago and I looove them, can't stop wearing them because they go with simply everything! The second picture makes them look a bit weird, but I was too lazy to find a way to take a better picture, ehe. They're from ZARA and were 40€. (I don't know why, but I somehow always end up buying the 'special price' shoes from ZARA, without noticing it until I'm on my way to the checkout)
I spent my saturday studying maths and cleaning my room, and soon a friend is coming over to help me get the new iPhone Software on my phone without deleting all my contacts and pictures, I probably look like a total idiot not knowing how to properly do it, but I don't want to risk losing all those things hehe.

Good evening! Just a quick stop to say hi, I just finished typing my german essay, (german is like so boring and difficult this year, hating it!) and I'm now soon gonna study geography for my test tomorrow, I actually understand everything, but I feel like I don't know anything, well isn't that great? Indeed it is, meh.

Other than that, my day was more than chilled; I had the first lesson free (as always) and spent that having breakfast and playing cards, then in philosophy we continued watching Minority Report, then I had double gym, with volleyball test (no idea if I did well or not), then I had my usual triple lunch (like every tuesday) and we spent the last two periods in english watching Despicable Me, which was so cute and funny in my opinion!

And yes, I'm off to eat now, bye xo

A picture of a random outfit I wore in the beginning of November and clearly, it now is way too cold to run around in my leather jacket with rolled up sleeves *cry*. As well, what annoys me is that the bag I'm wearing in the picture broke because I carried too much stuff in it, I was so upset when I saw how it slowly broke! Oh and referring to the quality of the picture: I took it on a thursday morning around 9am while waiting for my bus and I clearly shouldn't have zoomed in and cropped it since the quality didn't really get a lot better that way.. oh well, I'll try to resist cropping it next time!

Other than talking about the picture above, I only went to school for the first 4 lessons today, because I didn't want to miss spanish and maths (compos/exams in a week) and history (test on friday), but at 12:15 I decided that I'd rather go to my grandma's place to rest a bit to cure out my cold I've been having for a few days now (I slept around 6hours, having a stupid nightmare and spending half of the night tossing around in bed because it was too warm) and study for my geography test on wednesday than stay in school for another 4 periods which weren't so relevant, so I took a nap and studied instead of dying in french, eco, english or biology, haha!

I just finished my spanish essay and now I'm gonna watch some trailers on youtube to decide which movies I should download. I already downloaded Breaking Dawn, I think I'm going to watch it tonight. (Yes, I watch the movies, yes I read the books but yes, the books are much better than the movies, but I still want to see them) Talking about movies - do you have any suggestions on movies worth watching? Any kind of movie is ok, just drop suggestions below or here, they'd be appreciated! :)

So I finally have my very own, fast and good laptop and I'm so so happy! I spent last night downloading iTunes, Photoscape, Firefox, etc and downloading music until 1am (oops) and today I'm gonna install all the Microsoft stuff when I'm done with some studying and homework - it's so hard to focus on such things when the laptop is standing next to you and whispering 'uuuse me' hahaha :(

Hello there!
I decided to write a bit about what's going on in my life right now and what's it with me not updating anymore (well, barely..)!
Since our laptop has problems (again), we brought it to a shop and well, there's not much you can do because it's pretty.. fucked, haha :b And since I can only upload pictures and edit them on that laptop, I still have a few pictures I took the last few days on my camera.
Yesterday I went to Auchan with my dad because I  finally convinced my parents to get me a laptop for christmas/st nicholas (the 6th of december) and well, we bought one yesterday :D Now I have to wait one more week until I can use it, and then I will finally be able to blog from a fast, good computer, so I can update more often and also with pictures I took!
Other than that, I soon have my winter exams, but I still have 5 tests to write in the next two weeks: spanish, french, biology, history and geography and I really have to pull myself together, because I want good marks! I'm quite motivated though, because I recently got 9/10 in my german test and 8/10 in my math test and both test averages were under 6. (you have to get a 6 to pass)
So I don't know if I'll have a lot of time to update the next week, but as soon as I get my laptop, (god, I'm so impatient) I'll try to blog more regularly! xo

So friday I went to that party that got organised by our school, but I didn't take any pictures and it definitely wasn't my best night out, but whatever :) I slept in until 12am yesterday and I was so tired the whole day, the only thing I did was going to the hairdresser and hang out with Kathlyn! Today I've been doing pretty much the same, which means - nothing. I still have a spanish essay to write, but I've been too lazy until now, ahh someone should forbid sundays, I hate them! However, I should get started on that damn essay soon, so I'll leave blogspot now, see you! xo

PS: I know that my blogging here's been pretty bad, but I haven't had the time/motivation to prepare proper posts, I've been a lot more active on my tumblr, check it out and follooow :D

I was bored some time ago, and (as usual) I randomly tried on different pieces of clothes to find new combinations to wear. When I realised that I barely ever wear my two velvet dresses, I put them on with jeans and now I definitely want to wear them like that once! Unfortunately, it's too cold now, but I'll have to come back to that idea when it gets warmer.

 Schönbrunn! For those who don't know what it is, it's the summerhouse ("house", right) where princess Elisabeth and prince Franz used to live. It was beautiful, it made me want to cry, unfortunately we weren't allowed to take pictures inside the building :(
