Shoe cravings

My biggest weakness when it comes to shoes are boots. When I was younger, I used to hate going shopping for boots, because it always took me ages to find some that wouldn't make my feet look bigger or my legs even thinner, but as soon as I had found a good pair, I lived in them until they broke into pieces! Nowadays, I don't have a problem with deciding which ones to buy because of what fits me/what doesn't fit me, but because of how much money I can spend, haha! I love having different kinds of boots to wear with dresses or big coats or leather pants and chunky scarves. Naturally, moving to the UK has made my cravings for more boots even worse, as every girl here owns the coolest boots and combines them in incredible ways! Above you can see a couple of pairs that I particularly like right now. My favourites here have to be the Chelsea boots and the snake skin Chelsea wellies! The entire Chelsea boot style is really starting to grow on me, plus I've been looking for wellies but still haven't found any. I'm saving up for another pair ATM, boo student budget!

PS: Did anyone notice that all these boots are black and that all the boots I own are black too? Hmmm

A Sunday spent in Brighton

Like last Sunday, my friend Sarah and I decided to go into Brighton for a bit, getting tired of being on campus 24/7. The weather was quite decent, not too warm, not too cold - my favourite kind of weather! We wandered around the street, then had late lunch at this overly cute Cosiez Café and carried on walking around (okay we were (for the 3rd time) looking for someone who would fix my boots because one of the buckles of my topshop boots came off, aaargh) and as you all know me so well, I felt very snaphappy with all the cute little, colourful houses everywhere, so have another photobomb of houses/streets! I'm really starting to fall head over heels for this city, everything's so different than it is in Luxembourg...

I haven't been carrying my camera around with me lately, but I still wanted to show you some outfit with some of the new things that I showed you in the haul. I really don't regret buying a single thing, which I'm very happy about, since I need to start getting used to live on a budget! I have quite a few classes/lectures tomorrow, so it's going to be a long day, but I'll be having my first Media classes, so I'm quite excited about that! Additionally, a friend is turning 18 on Friday, so we'll be having cake and drinks in her flat tomorrow night and then it's almost the weekend agaaaain!  We recently ordered Indian food and it was sooooo good! Ordering food is something you can barely do in Luxembourg, so I'm really loving the whole sit-and-relax while waiting for your order, without having to sit on a table the entire time like in restaurants

 On Thursday evening, the Brighton Pier got closed for the freshers from our Uni and we got unlimited free rides!

I know that it hasn't been that long since I last posted some songs that are my current most played ones, but I downloaded quite a few new ones, including an entire album, so I decided to share some more music with you guys.

Even though Lana Del Rey's song Summertime sadness isn't exactly the newest song, I recently discovered my love for this particular remix of the song, I love dancing to it in clubs!

Finally, Gun by CHVRCHES has to be one of my most played songs at the moment. I didn't really like their first "popular" song Recover, but since their other song called The mother we share started being played up and down on the radio, I've been looking into their music more and this one has to be my favourite! (I definitely need to download more of their stuff though)

Roomtour

So here's the room tour I considered making. I did think of making a video out of it, but quite frankly, I prefered to just throw my clothes around the room to some corner while I took pictures of another corner, instead of simply tidying it up :D I'm on the campus that got built from scratch last year, so I'm really lucky because it's very modern, clean but still cozy! For those who are curious: I live with 4 guys and 1 girl, which is something I'm happy about, because it's always a bit more fun when there are more guys than girl living together (in my opinion).
I don't know when I'll have the time to post outfit pictures because my classes start tomorrow and I have to get used to my new schedule, but I'll try to post other things meanwhile. Have a nice day! xo
