Hey guys! I apologize for the emptiness around here lately, but I've been far too busy dressing up, taking last pictures at school, writing into yearbooks.. enjoying my last days of high school! Tomorrow is my very very last day, so I'll be back with normal-ish (as far as my exams allow it) updates. I got my report with all the marks I got so far today and I'm really happy because my average of those marks is 81/100 and that counts 40% in the average of the entire year, so it's a good start! That is pretty much all I have to share for the moment, but I'll be back, I promise! xo

Instagram Diary

 left: I finally got around watching Anna Karenina and I loved it! Oh and I'm totally having the biggest girl crush ever on Keira.. right: Is it just me or is Leonardo unbelievebly goodlooking in The Great Gatsby? *sigh*

 left: my grandma made mousse au chocolat and served it in the world's cutest cups, awwh right: I don't know why, but this really cracked me up - gotta love tumblr!

left: simple and comfortable Saturday outfit right: I tried out Cassey Ho's (Blogilates) flourless pizza yesterday and it was delish! Definitely making that more often - it's a much healthier version compared to regular pizza

Tomorrow I will have the first out of my 4 last days of school... ever! It's a tradition to dress up differently every day, so I'm really looking forward to school (I said it!!!), and we're not going to work much more now, so I'm sure it'll be fun. I'll try to snap some pictures with my phone, so that I can maybe post some pictures on here soon!

Honey I stole your pants

This is by far not the best way to wear those pants, but I really really wanted to wear them, so when my mum, brother and I spontaneously went to the chinese restaurant yesterday, (no one could be bothered to cook) I quickly threw this on. I can't wait until the endless rain finally stops, so that I can wear the pants with ballet flats or sandals, to make it look a bit more feminine or dressed up. Do you have any genius ideas? Go ahead and share xo

The pink and brown/nude ones are kind of "routine" buys, since I often use those colours, the bright yellow one will be used as an experiment, really curious about how it'll look!

There you go, this is all I bought yesterday! I'm super happy with everything, especially since they can all more or less (the shirts not that much maybe) be used as key pieces in an outfit and because I now have some more colourful items to add to my closet! I'm not quite sure what to wear the striped bodycon dress with, so if any of you have ideas - shoot!

One round of applause for me - I finally have some decent outfit pictures! As planned, I spent my day at my grandma's, then shopping and working out. I found a few lovely things on my shopping trip, including great colourful things, and I'll show it all to you tomorrow! I can't wait to wear my new things, I feel like a kid in a candystore when I look at them! I'm off to read some blogs and then go to bed, xo

 I really wanted to read the book before going to watch the movie, but I didn't manage to completely finish it, so the ending was still a surprise for me when I was in the cinema (this also kind of answers the person's question who asked me about the book, and yes, I liked it :))

Thai Chicken Coconut Soup

When I stayed home the entire day last Tuesday, I couldn't sleep anymore at some point, and felt like cooking something for lunch. I made myself wok with chicken, rice noodles and vegetables, and since I didn't want to eat all the chicken at once, I looked for recipes on how to use cold chicken in other dishes. I googled "cold chicken meal" and one of the recipes that popped up was this great Thai Chicken Coconut Soup! On wednesday, I tried it out and I decided that it's just too good to keep it to myself! You can find the recipe here, but you don't have to make it exactly how it's written there.
I'm definitely making this soup again, it's easy, tasty and really fills you up! Let me know if you try it out! xo

PS: I wanted to change my header to something more simple, but no matter what I do, it always turns out to have a very light grey background (even though the background is clear white!) - do any of you know how I can change that?

Hey guys! Sorry for my absence these last couple of days, but I've been pretty busy lately. On Thursday, I had dinner with my spanish class and teacher, which was great fun, but I didn't take any pictures. Since my ears and throat started to get worse after that, I spontaneously went to the doctor yesterday morning and now I have antibiotics, oh the joy. However, I didn't want to miss the Foam Party organised by my year, so I still had an amazing time yesterday night, including almost drowning in the foam and falling flat on my butt. (it hurts, a lot)

I'm off school now for a week and then I have 4 days of school left and only exams will keep me from my freedom! I can't believe that I'll be having my 4 hours german exam in a bit more than two weeks..

I quickly wanted to comment on the outfit I wore yesterday; I got these pants from a girl, for approximately half the price she paid originally, and since striped pants were already on my I-need-to-get-that-list, I was more than happy to buy them off her! I wore simple black-white converse with the pants and sweater, but I can't wait to wear it in all kinds of combination, especially when it comes to wearing colourful items with it! Any ideas?

Hey there! I'm currently at home in bed, feeling ill and weak, but still wanted to update. Since I had a stroll through H&M and ZARA yesterday, and I feel like I need to completely re-new my warbrobe, I decided to make a collage with things that I like/want. I'm going to my grandma's place sometime next week, so I decided to take an a bit bigger amount of money out of my piggy bank and do some nice shopping. To my surprise (!) I didn't find everything I saw/liked on the websites of the shops (this is particularly suprising with H&M, since it's usually the other way round), but here are some things that caught my eye and that I'll look out for next week. In case you can't tell, I'm really into striped items, especially pants, neon colours, but also simple things with a twist (example: the black sandals from H&M, they're partly made out of transparent-ish material), and last but not least: boyfriend jeans/light and easy looking denim in general. Oh and the beige/light pink leather skirt from H&M is just something I'll keep dreaming of, since it's pretty expensive but oh well, a girl can dream from time to time!

Tonight's dinner. My dad came back from his fishing trip to Scotland, so we went out for dinner after picking him up from the airport.

PS: I just finished watching the last episode of Friends and I was *this* close to start bawling like a baby...

I still haven't found the memory card for my camera, (I should maybe start considering to buy a new one...) and since I was home alone, I didn't have anyone to take pictures of me either, so I took these two snapshots of what I wore yesterday afternoon/evening. I went to a friend's place where we had a BBQ with around 20 people, it was great fun and I ate enough for the rest of the week! (oops) I slept over at her place and went to work out this morning and now I'm home. Tonight, I'll finally go out, but I don't know if I'll get to snap any outfit pictures...
