15 FACTS ABOUT ME

1. I'm a huge cinnamon fan. I love it on just about everything, whether it's coffee, my morning oats or even on bananas! When I was younger, my grandma made me rice pudding quite often and the cinnamon freak I am, I added tons and tons of cinnamon on top of it. At one point, my grandma went to buy bio cinnamon (which basically didn't get treated with any chemicals) because she got scared that I'll end up poisoning myself with all that cinnamon, haha!

2. Even though I now live in a City with more than enough Starbucks Cafés, it is still something special for me. I also always get the same drink; either a Chai Latte, Cappuccino or Vanilla Spice Latte.

3. My proudest achievment is that I'm fluent in 4 languages and I can make conversation and understand almost everything in Spanish.

4. I'm easily intimidated by 'cool' or good looking people, feeling like I'm in some way not good enough to just speak to them. However, that has improved a lot since Uni, since People are much more open here!

5. I was an omnivore for over 18 years but I've been eating mainly vegan (90% I'd say) over the last couple of months and that's how I want to keep it for the rest of my life. My main reason for eating this way is my health, but I'm also very happy that I can help saving animals and the Environment at the same time. Of the many movies and Clips I saw, Forks over knives was my favourite! (I really recomment you watch it,no matter how you eat - it's all about health, no pictures of suffering animals are in it!)

6. I started eating high carb low fat, also known as 801010 a Little bit over a week ago and I'm starting to really like it, as I love stuffing my face with pasta and rice!

7. I am moving into a house with two girlfriends next year and for the first time in my life, I'll have a double bed!

8. I can't stand it when it's hotter than 25 degrees, or 28 when I'm laying near a pool - anything above that is simply too hot for me, it makes me too tired and lazy!

9. I've had glasses since I was 9 and I'm currently wearing contact lenses most of the time. However, since I had my last appointment at the eye doctor's, I've been seriously considering to get my eyes lasered in a couple of years.

10. Right now, one of my main dream destinations to go to is Tokyo. I've also been thinking about Interrailing through Europe, especially through the Scandinavian and Baltic countries, during summer with a friend.

11. Without counting the possibility that I might come home during Autumn term next year, I'll be flying a total of 14 times this year. Crazy!

12. My dream car is a beige Mini.

13. If possible, I want to be studying subjects like American Literature, Women in Literature, Advertising, Cultural Studies and Journalism at Uni next year.

14. I really enjoy making Q&A Posts, so if you guys feel like you have things you want to ask me, I'd love to answer them in one big post!

15. Fashion-wise, Autumn is my favourite season because you can wear anything from shorts and skirts with bare legs and thick jumpers and boots, all depening on the weather. Personally, however, Spring is my favourite season, as I simply love seeing everything getting greener and greener and people coming out of their houses to enjoy the sunshine.

Merry Christmas Eve!

Depending on where you're from and when you celebrate, I'm wishing all of you lovely people a Meryy Christmas Eve! As we mainly celebrate Christmas on during the day of the 25th in my family, I will spend my Christmas Eve with my parents and brother, stuffying myself with way too much smoked salmon. Even though I've got a proper outfit planned for tomorrow, I still felt the urge to somewhat dress up at least a little bit and decided to play around with my hair a little. As very often, I always come up with the nicest hairstyles late at night but never manage to recreate the look the day after, but I succeeded this time! In case you're following me on instagram, you've probably already seen me wearing my hair this way yesterday, but I felt like sharing it nevertheless! Here are a few snapshots of what I wore this afternoon. I spent my morning tanning (yes, it was finally warm enough!!) and working out and in the afternoon I finally decided that it was warm enough to walk around with bare legs. Unfortunately, it was terribly windy today (as you can see on some of the pictures), so I was constantly fighting against my skirt, so that I wouldn't unintentionally flash people, haha!

Hey folks! I just quickly wanted to stop by and let you know what my (awesome) plans for tomorrow are: like last year, there'll be a Europarty organised again, which is basically a party where people from all the European School go to party all together! Last year it was in Brussels and this year it is in Antwerp, which is great since I've never been there before! I'll leave with people from my school with the bus tomorrow at 11AM, then I'll get to spend the entire day there with my friends and in the evening we'll party like there's no tomorrow! I'm definitely taking some money with me, in case that I pass by any nice shops. I really want to take my camera with me, but I'm simply too scared to get it stolen in the evening and it's heavy too.. I'll take many pictures with my phone though, so I might post some of those on here when I'm back!

Our bus back to Luxembourg is at 6AM, so I'll probably be sleeping the entire Sunday and try to study some more (I have a history and geography test on Monday and Tuesday - stupid timing! :( ) but if I find the time and energy, I'll update too.

I might prepare a small post for tomorrow, so it won't get too quiet around here :) I wish you all a very lovely weekend and party hard! (or study hard?:D) xo

TURQUOISE

I originally wanted to take pictures of what I wore last night, but since the weather is everything but nice (minus degrees and snow, yuck), I simply wore jeans and a top, nothing really worth taking pictures of. I spontaneously put on those turquoise earrings I found hidden under all my jewelry and decided tha I have to wear them more!
I got quite a bit of good feed back on the movie post I made and was even told to do a similar post about the TV shows I watch, so I'll get down to that now and prepare it for tomorrow.
I should probably also study some more history, but only after I've taken a nap, I got home at 4 last night... xo

MY CAMERA REMOTE ARRIVED!

I decided to spare you a post filled with shamelessly many pictures of myself (I easily took about 30 pictures in no more than 30 seconds) and simply put my excitement out there, I can't wait to take tons of pictures! My next mission is to find the perfect white wall in my house. That's all, I'm going to blisfully drink my cup of tea now and watch Grey's Anatomy before a weekend packed with studying maths begins tomorrow. xo

On another note, happy 1 year anniversary to me and my boyfriend and I gave in and ordered the camera remote from the internet, one that will actually work - it should arrive within the next few days.

I spontaneously decided to pull my brother out of the house and take a couple of pictures in the tons of snow in our garden and here are the results. We didn't take that many but I do like them :) A proper photoshoot in the snow could turn out soo cool... don't you think?

Red Lipstick + Grey Woolen Hat

Hello you guys! When I was in town looking for curtains with my mum yesterday, I found this grey woolen hat and just really wanted it - and boy, I'm so glad I got it, the weather was terrible yesterday!
Along with the hat, I decided that I really have to actually start wearing my red lisptick.. it's so pretty but I tend to feel so dressed up when wearing it.. does that make sense?
However, today will be spent at home, doing school work! I told myself that this time, I will not wait until Saturday or Sunday to start doing homework or studying and yay, I just finished my almost 4 pages long german essay :D Other than studying, I might also go do some practice driving with my mum's car soon, since the only car I've properly driven with so far was the ones I had during driving lessons.

Sunday Snapshots

The beginning of the end

I just arrived at home, after having survived my last first schoolday - ever! (so weird)
I had two lessons only and I have almost all my teachers from last year, so there aren't that many changes. My time table is okay, I finish school at 14:50 on wednesdays and only start school at 10:20 on tuesdays and 11:30 on fridays, so I can catch up on some sleep :D
A major change in our school is however the fact that the second European School is finished and we got split up (by nationalities), so that quite a bunch of people I'm friends with won't be going to the same school as me anymore :( However, since the whole 7th year (hehehehe it feels so funny to actually write it down.. 7th year :D) finished at 12:15 today, Interview (a bar/café) was completly filled with people from my year, even with those who took the train all the way from Mamer to town, it was so funny!
That's it for now, I'm gonna read some blogs now and watch an episode of one of the several tv shows I downloaded and drink peppermint tea. See you, xo

DARK LIPS, BRIGHT EYES

I finally got around buying a bright red lipstick recently and spontaneously decided to take some pictures wearing it, especially now that I have a better camera, I should really take advantage of it and take all kinds of pictures!

The pictures of myself above are just random webcam shots, I don't like making posts without pictures, soo yes. I just wanted to write a last "actual" post on here, since I'm leaving for France tomorrow morning and 99% of the posts will be scheduled (the 1% not-scheduled posts would be if I'd, by miracle, find internet anywhere). I spent my entire evening yesterday, preparing 9 posts, so there should be something new on my blog every 2 days, if not more often! That's it for now, I'm gonna finish packing now and watch the latest episode of Pretty Little Liars (no matter how busy I am, there's always a way to get 40mins off everything to squeeze in an episode of Pretty Little Liars :D)

Back in Luxembourg

Hello you guys! I'm back in Luxembourg, which I am partly happy, but mostly not that happy about after all. I really apologize for the terrible update, but I thought I'd rather spend my time in Estonia with my boyfriend than on blogger, since I won't get to see him for a whole month now..
However, I brought back a suitcase filled with new clothes and a camera with hundreds of pictures!
I'll pop in a photobomb with (lots) of picutres from my trip in now and then and I'll probably make a haul to show my buys, since that's what most of you people voted for :)
I'm off to get ready now though, going to have dinner at friends' place, see you!

Friday

Just a very quick update! I'm still at home and ready to go, just gotta have breakfast and then I'm off to town where I'll meet a couple of girls to have lunch together (maybe at Coffee Lounge.. mhh bagels) and then we'll all go to school to take our exam :) This might seem unimportant, but I just felt like posting something small here before leaving the house!

I came home in the afternoon today, nearly entirely did my economics summary, gonna study it tomorrow and then I'll go to the Wooden Beat Festival which is an event where a bunch of bands will play, quite a few from my school, so I also know some of the people who are playing. I'll try to take pictures but I can't promise anything!
A friend is going to send me the pictures that she took with her (underwater!-)camera, so that I can upload them on Facebook (she deleted her account) and then I'll be able to make a few proper posts with pictures from Mallorca :) That's it for now, enjoy your friday night!

Yesterday while getting ready to go out

Hello guys! This is gonna be my last non-scheduled post for a week, since I'm leaving to Mallorca for a week for a school trip tomorrow, can't wait! I'm gonna prepare two or three posts for the time that I'll be gone, but I'm sure that I'll have lots of pictures to show and lots of things to tell when I'm back from the trip :) That's it for now, see you all in a bit more than a week! xo

BACK

Hey guys, I'm back! Well, to be accurate, I've been back since Thursday night, but I didn't spend my last two days at home and really couldn't be bothered to edit pictures or post, hehe.. However, I'm done editing them and I think that I'll just make a few big photbombs and post those! I had a really nice holiday, the weather was sunny and around 25 degrees nearly everyday and I for once actually have a tan line and - of course, a face full of freckles, ready to shock my friends when I see them again in school tomorrow, haha!:D
Enough of the silly writing now, I'll prepare a post or two with Tunisia pictures and meanwhile I should really, really tidy my room, hhmmh. xo
